The vision of the RAHUL GANDHI EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST, Trichy, blossomed in the name style of INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION at Pothavur about 15km from Trichy on the Trichy-Thogaimalai high road, Tamil Nadu. The Institute was launched in Feb 2006 with the prime objective of taking higher and professional education to the rural masses. The RAHUL GANDHI EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST was formed in the year 2004 with Thiru. Kattur.Mahalingam as its Managing Trust. In the year 2005 the trust deed was amended with Thiru. R.Murugesan as its Managing Trustee.
